Service experience, or care already given at home
Service life brings calmness under pressure, teamwork and commitment. Family members of ex-service personnel often bring years of hands-on care for a parent, spouse or older relative. CareForce turns either starting point into employable caregiving skills.
Learn through supervised demonstrations, skills lab exercises and practical assessments, followed by training in a real care setting.

How long is the program and is it offline?
The program lasts approximately 2.5 months: 15 days of offline classroom learning followed by two months of offline on-the-job training at a hospital or retirement home. Practical sessions and assessments require attendance.
Is there a stipend during on-the-job training?
The expected stipend is ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 per month during the two-month internship. It varies by employer and is not a fixed or guaranteed amount.
What language is used?
Training sessions are conducted in Hindi. Course materials are provided in English.

No. Candidates arrange and pay for their own accommodation, meals and travel.
Will I receive a certificate?
CGA conducts assessments. A successful course completion certificate is awarded only to candidates who meet the pass criteria in classroom sessions, skills lab and on-the-job training.
Will CGA help me find a job?
CGA works towards placing successful participants and supports employer opportunities and interviews. Candidates must pass employer selection rounds. Employment depends on vacancies, skills and hiring criteria, so a job is not guaranteed.
What roles and salary could I expect?
Possible roles include eldercare caregiver, home-care assistant and patient-care attendant in hospitals, retirement homes and care organisations. An indicative fresher salary is around ₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month or above, depending on the employer, city, shifts and role. No fixed earnings are promised.
Will I learn nursing procedures?
A caregiver is not a nurse. Training covers safe support, observation, warning signs, escalation, basic first-response and CPR awareness within the caregiver role. Do not assume invasive procedures, injections or medication administration are permitted.
